Davis Rowe b 1857 married Sarah Ellen Croom b 1853. Found them in the 1900 Pender census living in Grady Twp. Children were: Elaine Fatimah b1879, Janie Barlow b1882, Addie b 1185, David Franklin b 1888, and Ruby b 1891. Elaine was my ggrandmother, she married Madison M. Moore. Duncan Blue BLACK (born 9/23/1810 in Moore County NC, died 8/20/1893 in Pender County NC). He was a Presbyterian preacher in New Hanover and Pender Counties for 50 years. Married Ann Clinton HOLMES in 1844 and Elizabeth James ARMSTRONG in 1850. I am trying to identify some late 1800 pictures of his children.
