DAVIS, ENGLISH posted by Chris Clack on Friday, July 25, 1997

I am researching the Descendants of James ENGLISH and Mary DAVIS. They had 5 sons and one daughter that I know of. Their names are David ENGLISH (born 1809-11), Stephen ENGLISH (born June 1812), Thomas ENGLISH (born bet 1815-1820), William ENGLISH (born 1820) and Joseph James ENGLISH (born June 5, 1828). I do not know anything about the daughter. If you are connected to the ENGLISH family in any way, I probably have your parents or grandparents in my database. Please E-mail me or write to 175 Highland Court, Gray Court, S.C. 29645-9261.

My great grandfather was named Edward Matthew JOHNSTON. He was a farmer who lived in the Wallace-Willard area in the late 19th - early 20th century. He was also County Sheriff circa 1880. If you have any info on him, or his ancestry or family, please give me some leads. Please note the spelling with a "t". Thank you, Andy Johnston
