PADGETT, RIVENBARK, WALKER posted by Destinia Schumann. on Friday, June 28, 2002: My mom was born in Pender Co. Her father was KIng David PADGETT. Her Mother was Lillie RIVENBARK. We have been able to determine they mariied in 1917. On their marriage certificate it lists a D.W. Rivenbark as her father living in New Hanover County. Her mother was deceased at the time. Would the D.W. be Dewey WALKER. I've tried to find out and have not had any luck. Can you help?

posted by Edward Harrell on Saturday, July 6, 2002: In 1860, Colvin Creek was in New Hanover County. WHen Pender County was established Colvin Creek then may have been in Pender County. Where would Colvin Creek be today, if there is still such a place?

ROBERT, WILEY posted by Phyllis Bryan on Wednesday, July 24, 2002: I am looking for info on a Casey Wiley. He was my grandfather. My grandma Cora F Wiley said he was buried in the Casteen Cemetary. Died I think in 1962. Grandma said they had a son named Robert Ervin Wiley and a girl named Shelby Jean Wiley that was also buried in Casteen Cemetary.

Took this picture at Meeks Cemetary/ Olive Cemetary on Holly Shelter Rd., Pender Co. while taking pictures of my ancestors. We also have Cowan's, but not in our line.
