Pam Footman OCTOBER Looking for information on the TAYLOR family from Pender/New Hanover Co. John Henry TAYLOR, born about 1802-1877. He was born in NC and in New Hanover census 1820-1870. His will was written in Pender Sept 29, 1877, recorded Dec 17, 1877, naming his wife Lucy Jane and children: Charles M. TAYLOR, [Margaret] Anny POWELL, Elizabeth Jane ROOKS, Martha Elen IVANS [EVANS] & husband Edward IVANS, Mary E. TAYLOR, and Clarisa TAYLOR. Also in the census is son, John TAYLOR, probably deceased 1862-1877. There is Maurice [Morris], that died as a POW in DE in 1863. John's first marriage was to Martha Jane MONTAGUE. I have not found anything on her family at all. Any help would be appreciated. Pam Herring Mashburn Email direct at:
