Will of Richard L. Bourdeaux

  Named in Will: James A. - son Calvin C. - son Robert W. - son Rebecca A. - wife Sarah A. Bourdeaux - daughter Ann Jane Bloodworth - daughter Margaret E. E. Bourdeaux - daughter R. N. Bloodworth - witness W. M. Hand - witness State of North Carolina Pender County I Richard L. Bourdeaux of the afore said County and State being of Sound mind but considering the uncertainty of my earthly existence do made and declare this my last will and testament. 1st. First, my Executor, hereinafter bane shall give my body a decent burial suitable to the wishes of my friends and relative and pay all funeral expenses to gether with all my just debts, and of the first money which may come into his hands belonging to my Estate. 2nd, Second, I give and desire to my three sons James A. Bourdeaux, Calvin C. Bourdeaux and Robert W. Bordeaux the tract of land on which I now reside containing one thousand and thirty five (1035) acres, to be disposed of as they may desire. 3rd. Third, I give and desire to my beloved wife Rebecca A. Bourdeaux, all of my personal property consisting of house hold and kitchen furniture farming tools & implements also stock of Hogs cattle and Horse, during her natural life and at her death my Executors shall dispose of said property as he may think best, and pay the proceeds of such sale over to my beloved daughters their proportional and legitimate shares each one to have equal in the distribution viz. To Sarah A. Bourdeaux, Ann Jane Bloodworth and Margaret E. E. Bourdeaux. 4th. Fourth, I give and bequeath to my two daughters Sarah A. Bourdeaux and Ann Jane Bloodworth Fifty-dollars each to be paid to them by my Executor on year after my death. 5th. Fifth. My will and desire is that my three sons James A. Bourdeaux, Calvin Bourdeaux and Robert W. Bourdeaux shall well and truly provide for the support and maintenance of my beloved wife and daughter Margaret E. E. Bourdeaux during their natural life. 6th. Sixth, I hereby constitute and appoint my trusty son James A. Bourdeaux my lawful Executor to all intents and purposes to execute this my last will and testament according to the true intent and meaning of the same, and every part and clause there of - hereby revoking and declaring utterly void all other Wills and testaments by me heretofore made. In witness where of I the said Richard L. Bourdeaux do hereunto set my hand and seal this the 19th. Day of November A. D. 1892 R.
